6 tips to help sit your guest perectly at the wedding reception!

While assigned seating at a wedding certainly isn't required, most do create a wedding seating chart. At any kind of sit-down dinner, assigned seats tend to make things simpler. To begin with, it ensures each table will be filled to max capacity. Furthermore, for plated dinner service, things can get very confusing for the catering staff without it. For these reasons, many venues actually require assigned reception seating.

1) Decide on the table size & shape!

Several offer drag and drop options and different templates.However you should consider creating a physical seating chart as well for those who may not be as tech savy! you can also use a giant poster board to plan out the seating!

6) Assign tables as an alternative!

Maybe you dont like the restriction of assigned seating and just want the right group of people to be around each other! You can also assign tables, a popular alternative to the traditional seating chart! this can work perfectly for buffet-style dinners, intimate weddings (think 70 guest or less)
